Red Envelope Project

Today was the deadline!! You gotta mail out your envelopes! For those that have no clue what I am talking about...It is a project that many people are doing around the world. You are to send Red envelopes to

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.
Washington , D.C. 20500
And on the back of the envelope you are to write

This envelope represents one child who died in abortion. It is empty because that life was unable to offer anything to the world. Responsibility begins with conception.
So last night Alberta had a bunch of girls over to help send President Obama red envelopes. It was such a great time of fellowship! I really enjoyed gettin to know a few of the girls better! It was so funny....at one point Alberta wrote Washington, TX ha! It was neat to see 200 red envelopes filled out and ready to go in the mail! I silently prayed over each one, believing that God was going to use these to touch more people than just the White House. Just think of all the people who handle the mail..Praise Jesus!! I would like to see their faces when millions of red envelopes start circulating through the mail :)Anywho, It was a great opportunity to be a voice for the unborn.

For more info you can check out this site http://www.redenvelopeproject.com/

"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth"
Psalm 139:13-15

The fruit of the womb is a reward"

Daddy's lil girl

Sweet Gracie came over tonight. It is amazing how things have just become so "normal". Praise Jesus for that! We just love her to pieces...I mean how could you not :) She has not only really taken to Logan and I but she is also sooo sweet to Cooper. She calls him "little Coop" and "bruder"! Here are some pics of us all.

with favor You will surround him as with a shield."

On my knees..

Ok, so Im about to get very transparent with you all. I want to first say that this is not a place to get your latest gossip. I am only sharing this with you because I know my followers are faithful servants of God and will be on their knees with me. Now that I have said that, I need everyone to please pray for my sister and her husband. I really can't get into much specifics but know that they need your prayers as they are going through an extremely difficult time. My heart is just aching right now but I know that my God is in control of all things. So please, my fellow bloggers, get on your knees with me! Love you all!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Birthday's and Bubbles

So today Shanna and Miss Sarah came over to craft. We had a blast! We finished Cooper's birthday shirt and now on to his invitations...to be continued. (I am heading to hobby lobby to get all the materials) Then once we ate we went outside to blow bubbles...LOVED IT! Sarah got a HUGE bottle of bubbles from her uncle Cody and brought them over to share :) Coop loved it for about 2sec...he was more interested in eating the cap to the bubbles as well as some grass. :) Sarah had a blast...she was all over the place poppin them! I just LOVE craft day!

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Weekend highlights...

WOW...it was a busy one! Thursday my sister, Katy and her boyfriend, Brandon came to visit. They are just precious! We all, including Logan and Coopman went to North Park mall (NICE) and Coop was not feelin it! He was ticked to say the least! Logan and I started thinking he was gettin another ear infection because lately he was not been sleeping like he used to but he never complains until he gets sleepy soo....after consulting my dear friend Shanna, I decided to take him to the Doc on Friday. I left there with two scripts! Needless to say he was close to having double ear infections again, one was already inflamed and the other was partially. I also got an allergy med for him. Poor guy! But he is feeling much better now! So Friday night, Logan stayed with Coopman and I got to go with Katy and Brandon to my Aunt Kerie's casa or can we say château, it is gorgeous! I have not seen them in over a year so it was nice to catch up and tell them ALL the news! HA! Of course they took it all like champs, I wouldn't expect anything less of them. Love you Neil, Kerie, Justin, and Sam. Oh and good news...Justin is asking his long time girlfriend, Anna to marry him soon..WhooHoo! So Katy and Brandon left on Sat. and Logan and I went to the Farm. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers...yumm. Coopman had a good time as always. Then on my way back home my dad calls and wants to stop by. He and Karla were heading back from Lewisville. It was sooo good to see them. Miss em! Oh and Sat was their 22nd wedding anniversary! CONGRATS! Love yall! So after all that we decided to just chill at home all day Sunday. Overall it was a great weekend..busy but GREAT!
This is the day which the LORD hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
~
The LORD hath done great things for us;
whereof we are glad.

We'll miss ya Waylon!

Waylon, one of Logan's long time friends, will be leaving for Afghanistan on Sat. He is in the airforce and will be gone for, hopefully, only 6mo. He will be missed by so many. Especially by his wife! I could not even imagine! Please pray for his safety and quick return home. :)

and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].

Scruba dub dub....

We had a big day at the farm today! One of the cows had just had a calf before we got there so Coopman got to see a teeny tiny baby calf. She was so cute! Coop loves the cows. He claps and waves as well as screams at them. It is hilareous! Well, not so much after about 10min of the screamin. He also played outside in his walker since the weather was so good. Once we got home it was straight to the tub! Cooper just loves bath time! Here are some pics.

Friends and Food

Today was a wonderful day!!! My mother-in-law came over and watched Coopman so that I could go have lunch with Shanna and Alberta. These women are wonderful and I was so excited! Lunch was awesome, I LOVE to eat, but the fellowship was amazing. I left feeling so renewed and loved! :)This year has had a rough start but I know and believe that it is just the beginnings of something very beautiful! I'm sure others are reading this and are now very confused. Lets just say that the Lord has been so good about putting Godly women in my life. I just want you both to know that I love you and am so thankful to have both of your support :) I know I have used the word "love" a lot in this post but that just sums up my day. It was full of LOVE!

"My command is this,
love each other as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this:
that he lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:12-13
~
Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.

Thank you Jesus....

for the rain!

"As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven, and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

Isaiah 55:10-11

A day at the park..

Last night we all went to the North Lakes park. It was seriously a lot of fun. The weather was wonderful, not too hot! It was Cooper's first time in a swing! I know, He should have done this by now but everyother park I have been to didn't have this type of swing. He LOVED it!

Gracie absolutely loves going to the park, so of course she had a blast! Logan and I don't realize how much she can do. She is definitely a big girl! When we first saw these bars, Logan told her she was too little to climb up them. She obviously thought otherwise! After she passed them a few times, she was determined to prove us wrong, and SHE DID!! She is very brave and determined.

The park was a lot of fun but here is something I learned. When potty training, it is best to wear a pull up when away from the house! The bathrooms were locked and so we had no where to go except in our pants. Poor Gracie girl! She just looked up at me and said UHOH. Better luck next time! :)

PLEASE PRAY

Meet the McClenahans. I was introduced to their blog in January and have followed them ever since. Their story has touched my life greatly! On February 8th Sweet baby Cora went to be with Jesus. She had been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer, in January. She was only 11 months old when she died. If you want to read about them please visit their blog http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/ then go to January and start at the blog titled "A new journey". Her parents are believers and have walked in extreme faith through this journey and continue to lean on God for strength.

The main reason I am writing this is to ask you to pray for Jess and Joel and their families. Tomorrow is Cora's 1st birthday and as anyone could imagine will be extrememly difficult. Quoted from Jess, " Please pray that God would give us strength to get through tomorrow." We all know that Cora will have an amazing celebration with Jesus but those she left will miss her greatly.
Posted by Jess:
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

My FAV pic!

I LOVE IT!!! HA!

"Sweet Jason" was a FRAUD!

WHAT A FRAUD! Ok the bachelor last night was sickening! For those who dont watch...Jason had to pick between 2 girls, Molly and Melissa. He chose Melissa and the two "looked" to be just smitten over one another. Truly! But oh just wait....right after they showed the proposal, the next episode showing was called After the Final Rose Ceremony. It is normally where we find out how the happy couple are doing and hear how hurt the other contestant was. Well....needless to say Jason and the producers of the show, ABC decided to turn things around and break up/off the engagment on national tv!!! It was horrible! He even told her he was in love with Molly. Melissa was extremely hurt and rightfully so! I truly believe she didn't know it was coming. Atleast not in such a public way! If thats not enough....he then had Molly come out and expressed his love for her! Molly seemed surprised but at the end they were making out!! It was extrememly crude!! I am just still in shock at how it all played out. Oh, and there is more to come tonight....its the second half of The Final Rose Ceremony. GEEZ! What more can they expose. Melissa, I pray you find your true love and that he will be a "real man". :) Like I said before, "Sweet Jason" was a fraud!!!

Family Photos.......duhh..duhh..duhh :)

Hey everyone!!
So today we attempted to take family photos! They turned out awesome but not without a few bumps and bruises...HA! Let me start from the beginning....

Miss Gracie got to come over today...all by herself..which is a big accomplishment!! For those of you who don't know our Gracie girl, let me fill you in. She is Logan's daughter and a true blessing to our lives. She was introduced to Logan and I in January and has been our sweet little girl ever since. I can not begin to describe the grace of God that has been shown to us through her...no wonder she was named Gracie. Anyhow, She is amazing!!
So Back to our family picture adventure...First of all let me thank Kendall for her awesome patience with us all...THANK YOU!!!! You are amazing! Also thank you Kelsie for loving on Cooper...you will be a wonderful mommy. Oh, and I can't forget to thank Drew....you were a huge help to us and the gals! Dude, YOUR THE MAN!
So we all met up at this amazing place in Aubrey. And started our photo shoot on this bridge but of course none if the kids wanted to smile or even look at the camera. So Kelsie starts making faces and it helps some but not as much as when Drew puts a tootoo on his head or was it on Mr. Bears head? Whatever it was, it got Gracie to laugh for maybe a sec. which was better than nothin. Still, I know the pics will be very cute! After the fam pic, we decide to get some shots of Logan and Gracie walking hand in hand....ADORABLE! Next was the two kids together. So we brilliantly sit Cooper on a chair and have Gracie stand beside him. It was great...the two really connected and im sure we got some good ones. BUT.....after a while Coopman decides he is done and wants out of the chair....seriously it was like wathcing him fall in slow motion!!! I freaked out!! LITERALLY...I was shaking! He falls off and lands pretty much on his head and his neck did this weird thing...I thought he broke it! Needless to say, he was fine but not in the mood to smile anymore. :( We then got some cute shots of just Gracie...of course I had to be miss dramatic to get her attention. We are talking silly faces, playing peek-a-boo with the bear and even pretending to poke Kendall with a stick just to get her attention! Of course we also got some of just me and Logan. Oh and by the way Logan cant do a herkie...HA! By the end Coop kinda cheered up so we stood him up and had him hold on to the chair and got some I think. But that ended in tears once he tried to eat the leaves....I was deffinatly having some bad mommy moments! Two hours and two exhausted kids later...we called it a day! I had the most fun though..Kendall is awesome! Serisouly check her out...www.thestoysstory.blogspot.com Once again thank you soooo much! I can't wait to see them! I'll post em once i get em :)
